Academic Credit
Credit will be awarded at MSU for all courses taken and passed at UWS. The student's academic adviser at MSU, in consultation with the Office of International Programs will determine how these credits will apply to degree course requirements. However, successful study at UWS satisfies MSU's Multicultural/Global core curriculum requirement. Students are urged to work closely with the their adviser and the Office of International Programs prior to departure to plan a course of studies which will maintain steady progress toward their degree.
Location
UWS is located in the Greater Western region of Sydney.  The Greater Western Sydney (GWS) region, the home of UWS, stretches from Parramatta (just 30 minutes from
the City of Sydney) to the Blue Mountains National Park on the western edge of the metropolitan area. Nearly two million people live in GWS – about 40% of Sydney’s population. While Central Sydney generally offers apartment style living, Greater Western Sydney offers a more suburban lifestyle.
Sydney has a good bus and train network, including an underground city center loop. The most pleasant way to get around is by ferry, especially to see Sydney Harbour.
 Cost and Included Benefits
Students receiving exchange placements at UWS  will pay tuition at MSU in the same amount as if studying in Bozeman. Students who are not awarded an exchange placement at UWS will need to pay the "study abroad" fee to attend UWS. (Visit the International Opportunities Resource Center for more information about this fee.) Each student is responsible for his/her room and board in Australia as well as trans-Pacific travel expenses. Remember to plan for extra expenses such as internal travel and personal spending money as well as for unexpected changes in the exchange rate.
Financial Aid
UWS participates in the U.S. Financial Aid Program. Additional costs for study at UWS (e.g. travel to and from the study site) may be used in calculating student's financial aid package. Students are responsible to apply to the Office of Financial Aid.

Australia UniversityMelbourne, Australia once more plays host to an international conference on March 28-30, 2007 at the Langham Hotel in Southbank. The conference on marketing matters is held by the Australian Vice Chancellors' Committee (AVCC), the council of Australia's university presidents.
The Universities Marketing, Communications and Development Conference (Uniconference for short) is held every two years to share knowledge in improving the quality of Australian universities in their national and well as international engagements.
The gathering was opened by a traditional prayer ceremony by Murindinddi, a native Australian, who dressed for the occasion in authentic bear skin cloak. Exceeding 300 people, the number of attendees overshadowed similar events in the past. They came from all over Australia and from New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, UK, and Indonesia.
